We could not have asked for a better experience than the care and education our children received at Altagracia's Early Childhood Education Center. Both of our children attended from the time they were 4 months old until the day they started kindergarten. My children were always safe, loved, well-fed (to this day habichuelas is their favorite food), educated, and very happy. When one of my children developed allergies, Alta modified her recipes to accommodate her and make sure she always had exactly what the other children did. They learned incredible academic skills in both English and Spanish. I truly cannot say enough. My kids still ask to go back. I would highly recommend Altagracia's Early Education Center to anyone. We miss them so much!

Alta of Altagracia Early Childhood Education Center has been the childcare provider for both my children over the last 5 years. I sent my oldest to Alta right after the pandemic and was very nervous. I was met with kindness and patience to ease my nerves. Alta's program is well run. She does a great job of having high standards of curriculum present as well as incorporating age appropriate fun, crafts and free time. While also being in her program, both my children became fairly fluent in Spanish as well as English. She also provides well balanced meals which allowed my children to expand their very picky palate. I would recommend Alta time and time again.

The owner and Director of Altagracia’s early childhood education center is academically prepared to care for and teach children from the ages of three months to five years old. She has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in early childhood education. She has been teaching children for 24 years. She teaches children and supports them in their cognitive, emotional, and motor development. She also focuses on academic growth, which includes the alphabet, numbers, colors, days of the week, months of the year, and seasons of the year. She teaches the older children 3 to 5 years old, how to read and write and perform mathematics. She teaches everything in English and Spanish. Most of the children that have gone through her program learn to speak and understand Spanish. There are children that go as far as learn how to read, write, and do arithmetic in Spanish prior to graduating from her program. Altagracia truly loves what she does, and it manifests in the growth of the children that go through her program.
